It's essentially a small lock box that can be secured.

Tow an anchor point like a door knob or a wall with either the shackle or the included screws through these holes.

Unfortunately, decoding an opening this lock is an exceedingly easy task.

All you need is a thin shim of metal.

I'm going to be using this tool, but you could just as easily use a piece of soda can.

Or if you're really careful, you could do it with a piece of paper.

But before I decode it, I need to change the combination, so I don't know what it is.

It's currently set on the word best.

As you can see, it opened up.

I'm going to move this to the reset possession and then with the lock facing away from a I'm going to scramble the wheels.

Okay.

Make sure each one is in, not in between position.

Then I will take it out of reset mode, put this back on and scramble the wheels again.

So I now have a lock to which I do not know the combination.

The first step in decoding this is to slide the shim on the left side of the code wheel, and then we're gonna turn it until we feel a flat spot on the inside code wheel.

And I'm gonna do that for each of them, huh?

You'll see this tool will move up when I reach that flat spot.

There we go.

We got the 1st 1 There's the second there's the third and just one more.

Okay, Now all the code wheels are aligned properly relative to each other, but not relative to the lock.

Housing that's easy to fix.

Each wheel is turned three positions up, and then the lock should open.

So 123 123 And, as you can see, it opened right up.

The unfortunate part of this is that it is really easy to shield the internal code wheels.

But for whatever reason, word Locke chose not to do so.
