  • How you guys doing?

  • All right.

  • I owe Lot of people are joining now.

  • Okay, Who's like it was like to at first.

  • And now it's 285 0 my goodness.

  • Wow.

  • This is a lot of people.

  • Whoa!

  • Look at the comments on the side.

  • Oh, I can't even read them.

  • They're going so fast.

  • Crazy.

  • My voice is so messed up.

  • Ah, guys.

  • Okay.

  • This is the only way that I could talk if I go in a low voice because, uh, if I tried to talk normal than my voice does this so yeah, well, my guy's looking all the comments on the side.

  • That's crazy.

  • Well, I didn't think this many people would be watching.

  • It's crazy.

  • Uh, since this week has to be a filler week than at home like I shall come fast, the comments are going Whoa, that is crazy.

  • Oh, my goodness.

  • Well, okay, so anyway, um yeah.

  • So, uh, this week is gonna be a filler week, so I have to do something Thio fill in.

  • So I figured, why not do a live stream with you guys.

  • So, yeah, um, this is my first.

  • I've done live streams with my patriot patrons where I actually interact with them.

  • And I answer all their questions, Any of them.

  • Right now there's, like, almost there's over 1000 1.3000 people, and you guys are typing really fast.

  • Obviously, I can't talk to all of you right now, because look how fast the comments are going.

  • I can't even read what you guys are saying cause it's going so fast, but yeah, So I figured out why not do a live stream to fill in for this week.

  • I'm currently researching are in Malawi and scripts.

  • So, um yeah, it's a good one.

  • A, uh, chat with you guys and talk with you guys.

  • You guys a little bit of ah ah, A little bit of insight behind what goes behind now.

  • Wow, you're waiting.

  • Ah, What whole thing that I want about is that, uh, by the way, for those of you who are just entering this live stream, my voice is kind of messed up, so I'm trying not to talk to the high or loud when this happens.

  • So I gotta like low guys.

  • You are comments and many people would be type A Okay, so what thing I wanted Thio show you guys was, uh this cool thing?

  • This is a box, obviously, but what is inside the box.

  • So I took.

  • I asked you guys off of social media.

  • You know, what are some things you would like me if junk now had merchandise?

  • What would you like me to sell?

  • I asked you guys and I took a lot of your suggestions.

  • And the two most popular ones were in addition to T shirts, So we will be doing T shirts as well.

  • But in addition, you guys asked for geography now pins emergence or locking?

  • Nothing yet, but we will open it soon.

  • So I took your son pads with the logo on it, and it looks really cool when it comes with little pen to be getting, though next week structure ends soon be Ah.

  • So you guys, that's pain.

  • So I asked you guys what you wanted, and that's what you guys are so Okay.

  • Wow.

  • Uh, slowing the un No more commenting right now.

  • Okay, I didn't slow down, but it's going really fast.

  • I'm gonna see if I can catch anything.

  • Oh, my God.

  • You guys are just writing like, hi.

  • And I'm from this country.

  • And how are you doing?

  • And, um uh, I'm trying to read your comments, but they're going so fast.

  • Wow.

  • Um, one of you know what have you said Bob Saget?

  • Okay, Yeah, I'm gonna There will be a Bob Saget joke in the Madagascar episode.

  • And, um, yeah, little sign No.

  • 10 is actually get a little, um, roll No cameo moment in the Madagascar episode as well.

  • Madagascar is really interesting.

  • I'm really having fun researching it.

  • Because if you guys don't know anything about Madagascar, the country is basically, um it's very different from the rest of Africa due to the fact that it was settled by Austronesian people.

  • So it's off the coast of Africa, but it has a huge Austrian Asian culture behind the people and the, you know, the people that lived there, and they're kind of intertwined and mixed with the bond to people that traveled across the Mozambique tail.

  • So the vast majority of people in Madagascar actually has Asian roots is it's weird, it's off of Africa, but they have Asian, like Austronesian routes, mostly from like the islands close to our now Indonesia.

  • Mostly poor Neil.

  • I think the language they speak there.

  • My legacy.

  • The which two that is actually found.

  • It's a language in Borneo.

  • I forget what it's called.

  • It's like the my eye on language or something.

  • Yeah, it's the closest related language in which, to my legacy, which it's crazy.

  • So it's like Asian but African.

  • It's like black and agent explosion.

  • It's a play Asian country, basically, as I like to call it, um, it's pretty crazy.

  • You guys, um I think you guys are really gonna like the Madagascar episode.

  • I'm researching it.

  • I'm almost done with the script.

  • I just have to write the friend zone and then I'm gonna research Malawi.

  • By the way, Guys, if any of you are from Malawi or if you know anybody from allow it, please, please, please send them my way.

  • I would love to talk to them.

  • It's kind of harder to find people from allowing.

  • So, yeah, I love talking to natives and, you know, I feel like natives are the best resource of information when it comes to learning about another country.

  • So yeah.

  • Um, yeah.

  • So if any of you guys are either Malawian or if you know anybody from Malawi, please send them my way.

  • Geography later at gmail dot com, By the way, because I love this little If you saw my thumbnail.

  • I love this Ah, little desk ornament.

  • Some guy from New Mexico made this and he asked me if you guys would like these, he might be able to make them and sell them, so I wouldn't know.

  • Do you do guys like these jugs now?

  • Desk ornaments, if you would like to purchase them.

  • I hate being like a salesman, but, I mean, you guys asked for merch, so I'm honestly, just taking what you guys are suggesting and trying to figure out what you guys would like because you asked for the pins.

  • You ask for the no pants and you ask for T shirts.

  • So I'm gonna give it to you.

  • I'm gonna give you guys what you want it.

  • And I don't know if you guys want these.

  • If you do, I will ask the guy if he could possibly work into making these two, Um, anyway, back to geography Um, yeah.

  • So one thing I we're gonna probably fill next week we're gonna film.

  • I'm gonna see if I can write at least three scripts.

  • I'm gonna try to write Madagascar, Malawi, and, uh, whatever's after that.

  • I think it is in Malaysia.

  • I think it's Malaysia.

  • Or maybe there's another one.

  • Anyway, we'll try to write three scripts, and then we're gonna try to film them next week.

  • And from there, it's just there we go Next, few episodes coming up, but yeah.

  • So I'm really glad that I nto do this live stream.

  • You guys are writing a lot of stuff.

  • Okay, I'm gonna try to read one comment that's going really fast, but if I hold my gosh, it's so fast.

  • Ah, I can't read it.

  • It's too fast.

  • Oh, my gosh.

  • It's going like Well, look at that Guy's the comments.

  • Oh, my God.

  • Okay.

  • Wow.

  • Um, hi.

  • Someone says they're from Romania.

  • Someone says they're from Portugal.

  • By the way, guys, thank you.

  • For those of you that are watching that live really far away from where I live.

  • I'm in Los Angeles.

  • But some of you guys were in Europe.

  • Some guys were in Asia because our judgment, I was a very huge international audience.

  • Um, we have people from all over the world, as you can tell from the flag Friday episodes.

  • I mean, we get people that send in stuff from Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, Central America, the Caribbean and it's it's crazy, John.

  • Every note doesn't even have a 1,000,000 subscribers.

  • And yet the the dispersion off the subscribers is just mind boggling how you guys come from all over the world.

  • I feel like a lot of YouTubers.

  • You know, they have a lot of subscribers, but it's very concentrated to one region, you know, like some subscribe some YouTubers.

  • You know, they might only have subscribers in one country.

  • Um, you know, like the us or, you know, traditional Scribner's might only have British scrappy British YouTubers or, you know, Turkish subscribers might.

  • Only Turkish YouTubers might only have Turkish subscribers, so I think it's really crazy how diverse my subscriber base is, how you guys come from all over the world.

  • Um, speaking of which, I am trying really hard to find anybody from those very small, obscure the Pacific Islander nations the Polynesia, Micronesia, Melanesia like Palau or now a roof or Tuvalu, which I know.

  • It's really hard to find people from those countries because they only have a population of, like, 20,000 or less.

  • Um, but it would be my absolute dream to be from those countries because it's so rare.

  • It's so hard to find them.

  • It's so hard to find somebody from Palau or now rule or two below, especially to Oh my gosh, I would love to talk to somebody from Tulu because back country is so unique.

  • Um, it's like everybody's living on a very thin at hole and the land is just so narrow, way somehow killed.

  • You know, an entire society off of these very thin strips of what is essentially the sand bakes have very limited resource is, and yet they're still trying to figure out how to do that.

  • So if any guys know anybody from two who are now or power Palau or the Federated States of Micronesia or Melanesia are, uh what Melanie's is made up of several island nations like Solomon Islands of Vanuatu, that'll be great.

  • Anything in the Pacific, that'll be great.

  • Let me know.

  • I would love to hear from those people, cause it's so hard to get in contact with them.

  • Um, cool.

  • So, um, by the way, Okay, the comments are slowing down a little bit, so I'm gonna go now.

  • They just sped up.

  • I tried to read where you guys were reading.

  • I think I ran.

  • Someone is from Egypt.

  • Somebody's from Spain, Somebody from Lebanon.

  • Somebody is from Croatia, Somebody from Finland.

  • I want to go back to Finland, mostly because Sami AKI Oh, my gosh.

  • I would love some hockey ice cream specifically if you guys have never had it.

  • It is the best flavor of ice cream.

  • In my opinion, some of you guys might not like it.

  • It's Ah, black licorice ice cream.

  • It's my favorite.

  • So you, um Okay, so I'm gonna make this Life should go on for about 30 minutes.

  • Just because I don't want to push my voice too much, But I love talking.

  • I don't care if my voice is messed up.

  • It's worth it.

  • If I get to interact with you guys, by the way guys talk to each other, made each other, ask each other questions I don't.

  • Well, maybe not in the comment section cause it's too fast and you won't be able to, like, catch up with anybody.

  • My gosh, it's moving so fast.

  • But yeah, my social media is feel free to talk to each other and interact with each other, make friends, make friends with other people who watched geography.

  • Now I have this kind message Me.

  • He said he actually met his girlfriend because they both watched geography now.

  • Like somehow, I guess they both knew the references in the channel and they talked to each other and they they fell in love and they, you know, became boyfriend girlfriend.

  • So it's really crazy how I'm not a dating service.

  • And yet somehow, you know, younger now accommodated two people to become boyfriend and girlfriend.

  • So it's pretty crazy.

  • Um, you know who those?

  • Maybe jumping out could be your dating service.

  • Now I'm just kidding.

  • I'm not trying to make Jonathan our dating service.

  • All I'm saying is that people have found there significant others through geography.

  • Now, it's not the first time I've heard it happened, so it's it's pretty crazy, but yeah, um, I encourage you guys to talk to each other and meet the other jogger peeps.

  • You guys are awesome.

  • Now, honestly, like you think you know that video is I make are pretty cool and everything.

  • The secret is I talked to you guys.

  • You guys are the ones giving the information for your countries and your hometowns and everything.

  • You're the ones, you know helping me.

  • So, honestly, it's really crazy how you guys are such an integral part of the process of making my videos.

  • You guys email me and I talk with you guys and, um, you know, and I try to give you guys credit at the end of each video.

  • You know, the credits recipe special thanks to.

  • And then I write your names.

  • No, it's really I love.

  • I love talking to you guys.

  • What?

  • You guys give information on your country's.

  • So, honestly, you guys are the stars of geography now, so enjoy your spotlight moment.

  • Honestly, it's really cool how you know, you guys kind of helped create the channel as well, and I I know you know, a lot of YouTubers like, Oh, you know, I just love my fans and I really appreciate it.

  • And I don't know what I'd do without you.

  • And I feel like that's kind of cliche, because so many youtubers say that, Um, but I I honestly can say you guys helped make the video's not just because you watch, but because you actually give information for your country's.

  • Okay, I'm going off on this tangent way too long.

  • So let's move on to another topic.

  • Hold on, Let me drink some tea, cause you know, I throw in my voice.

  • Okay?

  • I'm gonna try to read, um, as you guys are writing so fast, the comments are just zipping by.

  • So if I can't even read anything you guys are writing, it's well Oh, my gosh.

  • Okay.

  • And so almost 2000 people are on right now as I am live.

  • Okay, let's see if I can read anything.

  • Money.

  • Guys were just saying where you're from.

  • Somebody from Romania, Somebody from I missed it.

  • What was it?

  • Bosnia Herzegovina.

  • Who?

  • We got a few Australians.

  • Uh, let's see.

  • Uh oh.

  • I think I read someone was from Brunei.

  • Cool.

  • Brunei.

  • That's cool.

  • Um, small nation must have a 1,000,000 people.

  • That's pretty cool.

  • Uh, what did you think of the Brunei episode?

  • Um, we'll see somebody from Hawaii.

  • Okay, We got a lot of Americans right now, because right now I'm you know, obviously the U S.

  • A daytime.

  • So but we got a lot of people, not from America with Netherlands.

  • Wow.

  • Okay.

  • Czech Republic.

  • Belarus.

  • Really?

  • Wow.

  • Does I think someone sent there from Belarus?

  • Uh, got a lot of Slovenians.

  • That's the thing.

  • Guys, if you guys watch a flag slash fan Friday for some weird reason, there are so many Slovenian people that sending stuff for flights I don't know why it's crazy.

  • I've gotten so many letters and so many packages from Slovenia and hold on actually here.

  • Somebody literally sent this book a long time ago.

  • The treasures of Slovenia.

  • Um, this is crazy, like I don't know why or how young for now got so popular in Slovenia.

  • But this is honestly one of the coolest books I've ever gotten from somebody, because look at all the pictures.

  • Look at all of you about highlights and the architecture er and the natural landscape of Slovenia.

  • And, you know, this is and, um, it just gives little captions explaining you know what's going on and so much history and culture behind it be.

  • I don't know why, but for some reason, I guess geography now became really popular in Slovenia.

  • And so I was kind of like a joke that, you know, actually fun, actually.

  • Hold on.

  • Let me show you guys this.

  • I can't find it.

  • Where is it?

  • You.

  • So here it is.

  • Somebody sent me this.

  • Uh, it's gotten to the point where someone literally sent me a shirt that says I am actually a big deal in Slovenia.

  • Like that's I don't know why.

  • It's Slovenians love geography so much.

  • But thank you, Slovenia.

  • It's getting to a point where I don't know, I feel like I should just go to Slovenia and walk around and see if anybody recognizes me or Ken Noel working.

  • By the way, guys, by the way, huge, huge announcement, please.

  • By all means, send stuff to the other people on geography.

  • Now, send stuff to can send stuff to Noah since talked to Caleb or whoever else you, Keith.

  • You know, actually, 10 just got two pieces of fan mail.

  • Um, for the first time, actually, three.

  • He got one before, but I just checked the fan mail.

  • Ken got two piece of fan mail and I was so calm, like, Yes, you guys are sending stuff to other people.

  • Not just me, please.

  • But I don't wantto I want the other guys to get there, you know, moment of spotlight, too.

  • I want I want them to be appreciated too.

  • So I'm pretty sure you guys like them.

  • I appreciate you guys appreciate the other guys in geography now, so please send stuff to Cannes or Noah or key for Caleb or whoever else has been on the show.

  • Um, yeah, it's it's good stuff, you know?

  • You don't have to send everything to me, and I love to see their reactions as well.

  • So if you said anything to them, though, on your package right, John, for now and then in parentheses, write the name of the person that you want to send this stuff to you.

  • So, like judge for now parentheses, 10 or whatever.

  • Yeah, so because if you just right Ken or Noah or Keith, my post office won't accept it because it's specifically asks a geography now because it's registered under a Jennifer now.

  • So, yeah, if you want to send anything to them just right there.

  • Just right, Jack.

  • For now.

  • Parentheses.

  • The name.

  • Okay, just just a little heads up.

  • Um, yeah.

  • So I think I will try to read any of your comments, but they're still going really fast on my gosh, I can't Even how many comments have been written Now it's like, Wow, uh, away so fast.

  • Somebody's from Slovakia, By the way, guys, I keep scratching my nose because, um, I don't know.

  • But it might be international, so we'll see.

  • Yeah, we might be anywhere outside of North America, So still planning on that?

  • But yeah, If I make enough money off of the merch, maybe I can afford to fly both of us to wherever across the world.

  • So depends on how much money I have to it costs money to travel, but yeah.

  • Ken is kind of like eating a meal.

  • You know, it's kind of like eating meals.

  • It's just there's something you have to do every day.

  • Um oh, yeah, I can dig back, but I'm like I'm on the phone.

  • How can I give it?

  • Oh, wow.

  • Like the best part.

  • You know, uh, you know, it's very rare to find a spot like l.

  • A.

  • In terms of like the weather.

  • You anywhere else is usually too hot or too cold or just the work conditions.

  • Yeah, yeah, but outside of l.

  • A.

  • What's a good city that you really like?

  • What will you say?

  • I would say I mean, where we just went recently Thio Only because it was just like I love maritime.

  • I didn't even realize I was like it.

  • Until you experience it like this is this is not bad at all.

  • This is like, you know, people were really cool of every chill.

  • The weather is windy and cold, but I don't mind.

  • I like it like 80 you know, outdoor.

  • Do you normally get dry?

  • He been in l a.

  • So it's a nice change for one, Like a cool breeze And the smell of the ocean.

  • Yeah, yeah, for ah, kens break A was recently Hey, recently had his birthday and I I said, Ken, for your birthday, I'll take you anywhere you want within reasonable distance.

  • And he told San Francisco.

  • So, uh, yeah, we took a road trip up to San Francisco.

  • I've never been there, and I'm glad that I went because it's a really cool city.

  • You guys have never been there?

  • Yeah.

  • Wait.

  • A couple of like we filmed a bit there.

  • Not because we have two are.

  • We had a reason.

  • I just don't know if we're gonna go to sample this guy.

  • What?

  • You're still will be God.

  • And it was so cool how everything turned out expectedly like everything just worked out really well.

  • At the end, it meant to get to a rooftop.

  • And with financial district of San Francisco way often footage of that that's gonna look like Oh, yeah, it's so crazy.

  • We were walking in the park, Golden Gate Park and in San Francisco, and some guy on a bicycle randomly comes up to us.

  • And he's like, Hey, are you geography now?

  • And I'm like, Oh, wow.

  • Okay.

  • Yeah.

  • Yeah.

  • And, um, his name was Misha.

  • And he's ah, he lives in San Francisco.

  • He's lived there for, like, 20 years, and he randomly, like chatting with us.

  • And when we got information, and then he says, Hey, how would you guys like to have a hotel?

  • Just But you just hook you guys up with a hotel tonight?

  • Because originally, we were just gonna camp, like we're thinking just camping in the middle of San Francisco or someplace.

  • And he's like, Hey, Aiken told me, Okay, up with a hotel.

  • Like what?

  • Really?

  • Yeah, for free.

  • So it wasn't so crazy How?

  • Like last minute we weren't even trying where we weren't even expecting it.

  • We get this free hotel in the middle of the financial district of San Francisco, and it's amazing, and there's rooftop access, and it looks really cool.

  • So yeah, Misha, I don't know if you're watching right now or if you I don't know, But thank you so much, Misha.

  • Um, yeah, that was really cool.

  • And we really appreciate it.

  • Please come down to L.

  • A.

  • A full access.

  • Every devil.

  • Yeah.

  • And okay.

  • Comments?

  • Yeah.

  • Comments are slowing down on the way.

  • Um, which I I barely get through.

  • I can't get by conversations.

  • Really?

  • Well, I understand it completely.

  • If someone wants to speak to me, I would be like, Yeah, I know exactly what you think, but when I try to say it was just a grammar, a wonky comes out again.

  • Are everything got?

  • Look, it comes up like I did.

  • Broken, broken.

  • Usually we just, like, double the word that we have like is we call it.

  • Makes make their huh hollow.

  • That's the food.

  • You know.

  • You have one language, you know?

  • Sounds like a combination of Spanish.

  • Yeah, like happy vanishes.

  • Well, so you know, you speak Spanish out there like that, I could understand part of work.

  • They like you.

  • Their hat.

  • Yeah, like I don't You Today, dude, I've heard you speak to God.

  • Look and yeah, And to me, it sounds like you're pretty fluid with the way how you speak.

  • You don't pause or, you know, think about what you have to say next.

  • Like you're pretty fluent with it.

  • It's a little crazy sometimes, though, mainly because when I'm trying to, like, speak to my family members, I have been thinking, Begala, but I know like I'm originally thinking in English than translating.

  • It is hollow.

  • And then if I'm speaking to them for long enough in this, like I'm heading to Well, I put my brain back and, like, Okay, I'm speaking English.

  • Translating it is Filipino because then I'll be absolutely speaking.

  • Our look, if you like one, you know, reading God.

  • Look, it is just using Latin based letter vote.

  • Anyone breathe that you could increase English.

  • Sort of.

  • The idea of how to sound worked out, you know, he's okay.

  • So we don't need the letter.

  • C don't read the letter case.

  • What would we keep a letter C, Right.

  • Very, very.

  • No.

  • Um, yeah.

  • I mean, I grew up with Korean, which is pretty different, but it's phonetic, so each letter makes it sound.

  • So it's not that hard.

  • Well, yeah, um, it's pretty interesting, man.

  • How we both kind of grew up with, you know, that Asian background, but with, like, in America upbringing.

  • So I think, in a way, it's really cool that we kind of both had that upbringing to some extent with a combined weight.

  • All right.

  • Yeah.

  • Um, somewhere says, can can you do a sample of speaking to God?

  • Look, say something tonight, Dio.

  • You do like, uh, that one Rap black eyed peas.

  • Really well, but it was, you know, like you go a point body fucking didn't go for the Filipino.

  • I nice everybody you can Arado clause give Kevin Ronald watch was very black eyed peas.

  • Um, yeah, that one guy was his name.

  • Like apple dy app or something.

  • He's He's ah, half Filipino or something.

  • He's half the night.

  • Yeah, that's that's why they got in there.

  • I was like, that was like, his song, you know, because he's half, you know.

  • Yeah, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

  • I love how, like even though the Black Eyed Peas are they together again, or did they break up again?

  • But I don't know.

  • They keep going off and on.

  • I really don't know.

  • I mean, I know Well, I am makes music.

  • I don't know if he went so lower, he phoned the band are, like, really like matted.

  • I mean, I was about eight years ago, So 2000?

  • Yeah.

  • I'm so 3000 year.

  • So 2000 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

  • It is pretty funny how Oh, my God, you got old.

  • We all grow old guys, raise your hands.

  • If you feel in the comments, raise your hands and feet old.

  • We're all old.

  • You're raising your hands too.

  • I feel, uh, yeah, guys were ovals.

  • We're all just decaying.

  • Let's all be old together.

  • We'll all do it, bro.

  • Grow old together.

  • Well, I did.

  • So not Nam, not as many kids.

  • And I think the second is like 17 to know.

  • What is it like 13 to 17 or something.

  • So the majority of my subscribers, uh, you know, I like college age or some like that.

  • So I think that's good, though I feel like I I enjoy having a nice kind of older, mature audience that can kind of take the heads and not, you know, wine about everything.

  • A man.

  • This is live, but I'm sorry.

  • Yeah, older people generally are more mature, and you know it's good to have a more civil conversation with them.

  • You know, it's it's easier to kind of take them more seriously, a supposed to some YouTubers where it's like the vast majority of their subscribers are like, really young and immature, and they have to cater to that.

  • I feel comfortable because I'm on to cater to an immature audience, not saying that all young people are immature.

  • But I feel like usually the younger you are, you're not as mature.

  • So, um, but yeah, if young people watch my show, that's cool, too.

  • I'm just saying, you know, it might be a little more difficult for you to retain some of the inside jokes till I mentioned, but if you can get for you, cool.
