However, by the end off this tutorial, you will have the perfect personal statement for your job application form submission.

Now, before I get in to the personal statement tutorial, the tips and the advice A welcome to this application for training tutorial.

So I'm gonna give you a tutorial on how to write on yourself.

But then I'm gonna give you one that there is ready made now.

So what is a personal statement?

What is a job application?

Personal statement.

Now, this is important to understand because what we're doing here is putting ourselves in the shoes of the person who's gonna be reading the personal statement and in effect, we need to give them what they are looking for.

So a personal statement basically summarizes what you can offer on organization or employer and how you see yourself working in the rope.

So obviously it needs to be powerful.

It needs to be positive, and more importantly, it needs to match the job that you are applying for.

And if you follow those simple steps, you will pass your job application form of go through to next eight.

So essentially, it's your job to convince the person reading the personal statement that you're the best person for that particular role.

So how do we do that?

How do we write a personal statement?

I'm gonna make it really simple.

I'm gonna break it down into simple to understand steps, and then I will give you an example of a brilliant personal statement.

So what we need to do is to split our personal statement up into three simple steps.

So it three simple sections.

The first section is that we need to write a short and powerful opening statement.

This is the first thing the person marking your application will read.

Therefore, Indies to be powerful and make them want to read the remainder off it.

And if you do that, they will read the rest of it, and you will get invited along to an interview.

The second part is we need to write a middle section.

Now.

During this middle section, you're going to showcase your experience and say why your skills and experiences are a match for the job that you are applying for.

Then finally, we finish off with a short and powerful closing statement, and I'll tell you what to put in each of those right now.

So the first part writing a powerful opening statement make it strong, make it powerful and most importantly, make it positive.

Explain why you have decided to apply for the job.

So you can say I am applying for this job because I'll tell you what to say in that particular element, but also use keywords and phrases that resonate with the employer or hiring manager in a positive manner.

So let me give you an example of that opening statement, the first part off the three stage personal statement.

I'm a hardworking, self motivated professional and committed employees who feels most comfortable in a role whereby pressure is very much part of everyday working life.

I have applied for this position because I feel strongly that I have the necessary skills, qualities and attributes to not only carry out each of the duties to a high standard.

But I also hope your organization move forward positively and innovatively through hard work and determination that is very powerful.

That will be the first thing that they would read on your application form on that personal statement.

So that's powerful.

We then we want to the second part of the personal statement, which is showcasing your experience, and this will be the partners most in depth.

So take the time to write one that is a match for the actual job description.

So provide details here in this middle section of any experience relevant to the role you're applying for.

Match your skills to the job advert or the job description.

For example, if part of the role you're applying for requires you to demonstrate great customer service, provide experience details within the middle section of how you match that particular element of the job.

And don't be afraid to be confident of your your abilities.

Show off in this section.

Remember, you are competing against other people.

Therefore, you need to put yourself ahead of the competition.

Here is an example off the middle section The experience Personal statement.

The professional experiences I've gained during my working life to date will be a benefit to your team whilst I'm working in this role.

For example, having studied the job description, I understand there is a requirement to work as part of a team to complete difficult and time sensitive projects.

In my previous role, I was regularly required toe work alongside of a departmental team members on company stakeholders to deliver important projects with clients throughout each team, task or project I always insured.

I carried out my own role to a high standard whilst also supporting other members of the team total and complete their own tasks.

In addition to being a strong team worker, I have excellent interpersonal skills.

I am self motivated.

I will always complete tasks sometime, and I will continually look to improve, develop whilst in the rocks.

That's a great middle section that showcases your skills, your experience.

More importantly, that's relevant to the role.

So then we finish off.

We finish off the personal statement with a short and powerful closing statement.

So here you're gonna tell the reader what you plan to do in the role if you are successful, and then you build trust between you and the employer, and I'll tell you how to do that in a second, but make it a no brainer for them to employ you.

This is your chance to finish off on a high.

Here we go.

I believe that, given the opportunity to work with in this role, you will be impressed with my strong work values, ethics and professional standards.

When I can assure you, I will work extremely hard to demonstrate my abilities and toe also repay the trust you would have put into employing me within the role.

The great final client closing statement.
