  • What's up, guys for us here and welcome to my very first video hotels and 18 Well, that is a CZ.

  • Long as my 2017 Your View video did come out as planned on New Year's Eve and not any time later.

  • But I want this video to just be a chill laid back video.

  • I don't have anything like I have a few ideas that I want to talk about, but it's very much planned like this, compared to like all of my other videos.

  • So it's going to be just kind of like a wing.

  • It laid back video.

  • I just want to talk with my YouTube community about the channel about what's going on, and tells an 18 and just kind of just just talk.

  • So for starters, I want to talk about my YouTube channel.

  • What what to expect for tells an 18 because in 2017 is being kind of, in my opinion, all over the place.

  • I mean, you know, it's been more focused than it was like when I first started at the end of 2016 but it's in the most recent months.

  • It hasn't been as focused as I want it to be.

  • And I think that's because my last semester in college just really threw me off instead of their own Iost development.

  • I was doing what development, artificial intelligence, programming and things of that nature.

  • But really, this year for this next semester, I am gonna be doing some android development as well.

  • So maybe I'll integrate that.

  • I don't know, let me know what you think.

  • But I want to really get back to focusing on Iost development on this channel.

  • I know a lot of you guys really, really like my design videos.

  • At least those get some of the most views.

  • So I want to make sure I hit at least one design of the month every month.

  • You know, I've been kind of like does that calling it designer of the month, but I would do it every other month or something like that.

  • I want to make sure January through December, so at the end of 2018 I have at least 12 design of the month videos.

  • I also want to try to make sure I want to upload to 23 videos every week, but I want to release a minimum of one video per week for all of 2018.

  • I mean, you know, if something crazy happens, that's different.

  • But as long as it's on my normal schedule with school or work or whatever, that's my goal.

  • At least one video per week and s for content of this channel.

  • Like I said, I want to get back into Iowa's development, and I will.

  • But a lot of you guys responded very well to my day in the life of computer science student.

  • And I'm not sure if that is just because you know the aspect of the day in the life of a computer science student or because of the aspect of high formatted that in like a vlog type video, because, you know, I could make some other videos in vlog type format.

  • But really, it may just be a mesh of the computer science and of law type format to see what goes on a day to day life of computer science student.

  • I'm guessing that was like the main thing.

  • So I think as I finish up the final semester of my college years, I'm gonna have fun with it.

  • document my time.

  • You know, I don't know if I would have any, Like in class classes.

  • I'm signed up for a few right now, but most of my stuff is online, so I'll do some creative ways of making long type content that has to do with being a computer science student.

  • In other videos that I really, really enjoy, making our tech review videos, for example, I have this new keyboard, which is really cool.

  • You could see the RGB lighting and stuff that I got for Christmas.

  • In all honesty, I would probably have 90% of this channel v Tech Review videos if I could afford the tech to be in those review videos, not because I don't like tracking eyes development of things that nature is just I really do enjoy making those tech review videos because something about this tech videos that you may not think about it.

  • That side of the camera is I'm able to talk to the camera in those decorative videos.

  • I'm ableto have B roll product, actual hardware to talk about and, you know, have in my hand for you guys to see where, as you know, I us development.

  • Tight videos is, you know, they're fun and everything, and they helped me learn.

  • They hope you learn, and it's good to track my journey of Iowa's development.

  • But there's something about staring at code in just making a video about software on the computer and code on the computer that isn't as involved.

  • Maybe that's not the right word.

  • Let me just say this way because I can't find the right word.

  • It's easier for somebody to be ableto watch those tech review videos and just sit back, relax and watch him, then is for somebody to sit back, relax and watch me code.

  • Maybe.

  • Maybe I'm wrong.

  • Maybe it's just me that likes to watch tech review videos over, you know, actual coding type videos, tutorial type videos.

  • But from what I can tell from, you know, my analytics and things that nature people watch Tech review videos.

  • Just tow, watch tech, groovy videos.

  • People watch tutorial IOS development type videos because they need to learn how to do that thing.

  • Not necessarily, because they're interested in, you know, just regular code every day.

  • If I'm wrong, please let me know.

  • Uh, the best way to let me know is down in the comments section because I'd like to know what you guys think.

  • Like, do you come to my videos like when I did the IOS development type stuff?

  • Tow watch, just me code?

  • Or did you kind of follow along with those videos because it helped you?

  • And because you're doing that same thing as well?

  • I think I laid that out well enough to be understood by everybody.

  • I don't know.

  • Like I said, I'm still a little bit sick.

  • So my mind, isn't it 100% soas faras that YouTube channel What I want this, you know, to consist of it's not gonna be a cz nish as some people's.

  • Like Shawn Allen, he does iose development on his channel.

  • He already broke, like, 10,000 subscribers within his first year.

  • So congratulations to you, Shawn.

  • But he is very much like, like, focused on Iowa's development on his channel.

  • And then you have people like, just Justin say, not sure if I'm pronouncing his last name.

  • Correct.

  • He has over.

  • He has, like, 300,000 subscribers.

  • At least he's approaching it at the making of this video.

  • And he is very much focused on tech review videos.

  • You know, NK Bhd is very focused on tech review videos with the occasional Q and A tight videos for me, I don't I don't know.

  • I'm more so documenting my journey this year of finishing up my computer science degree, uh, developing my IOS application because I know it's going to get finished this year, and I'm going to be turning that Iowa's application into a business, and then I'll play it by ear.

  • If I want Thio, you know, I'm gonna continue to grow that application, and I'm going to decide if I want to actually build more APS for myself or if I want to start taking on clients in order to generate some revenue.

  • Because, you know, building your own applications is going to make less money than actually taken on clients, because that's that's for sure.

  • Money in the building applications for yourself is maybe money, you know, it could be a lot of money, but they're secure money, and then there's maybe money I'm gonna be doing some maybe money, and then I think we're gonna be doing some secure money that freelancing and then my own applications if you got lost there.

  • So in essence, it's going to essentially be documenting my professional life because, you know, college degree obtaining that will lead to my professional life in order to attain the job that I'll get come May or June whenever I decide to actually go on full time with the company with my computer science degree.

  • So I'll be documenting that whole process as well and kind of talking to you guys about my interviews with, you know, certain companies and they're talking about, you know, maybe I have multiple offers and I'll see which one I took.

  • And I'll tell you guys way why I took this one.

  • Or maybe I moved all the way across the country for this job with my wife, which is another thing in May.

  • I'm not just graduating in getting my computer science degree.

  • I'm getting married the very week after that.

  • So that's why I kind of said I may be working in June instead of May because I'll get married the weekend after that and then go out on the honeymoon.

  • And then maybe if I end up moving, I'll need at least a week after the honeymoon in order to move all the way over to Colorado are wherever.

  • I'm not sure about California, not really my thing over there, but, I mean, it's just really expensive.

  • To be honest with the I don't I just can't I can't rationalize spending all that money on such little house and all that money on just simply location, where I confined.

  • In my opinion, what's a better location elsewhere?

  • And now it gets to that whole Ramblin part of the video where normally I'll start over and just start from scratch and get on with the video.

  • But like I said, this is a chill.

  • Relax video.

  • We're just sitting here talking about whatever is going on.

  • Intel's and 18 0 yeah, something I want to address because it may be a little bit confusing when it comes to, you know, talk about college and getting into getting into a job with my she s degree, almost as if there was a separate life than me being an Iowa's developer, which is maybe some of you may be confused, like I'm even confused as well, because the future is unknown in that department, because I have one side of things where I'm getting my college degree and from the way it looks right now today that I'll be getting a full time job in May or June hotels and 18 as mentioned.

  • But alongside obtaining my college degree in alongside working on that job, I'm gonna be building my app.

  • I may be taking on clients on the side, and then I'm gonna be doing YouTube.

  • So that is like the Iose development.

  • Plus, YouTube is this side of things.

  • And as I grow my house development skills, my freelance clientele is, well, is my YouTube channel.

  • If this gets to a point where it's essentially, this is like a money scale where it's essentially making more money than here, and by here I mean the salary, the benefits and everything of that nature.

  • Unless my wife could get me benefit, my future wife can get me benefits.

  • Then that's a different conversation itself.

  • But if essentially it makes me lose money, it costs me money to go to this full time job.

  • I quit that job and do full time YouTube slash Iowa's development.

  • That's like my goal.

  • Uh, you know, that's like my next goal I have goals beyond that.

  • But that's my next goal to be stuff employed with the YouTube because trust me, it is a viable you could see on other YouTube channels.

  • It's a viable career path.

  • But if I'm able to, you know, put that with Iowa's development, then it's a even more viable career path for least what I'm doing on my channel and alongside the Iose development YouTube things.

  • I do have two projects going on right now with Iowa's development and maybe making videos about Iose development for another platform, and they'll pay me in order to do that.

  • They approached me and we're working out a few things, so that's like it's that's all I'm going to say for right now, you could stay tuned.

  • I'll update you guys on the channel, of course, how that goes.

  • But those two projects will help me realize that self employed gold that self employed dream because though be lucrative in the sense of you know, YouTube and me building my own IOS application is is very, very slow.

  • This is almost like now, money that can grow at a faster rate than YouTube and I was development could grow.

  • That makes any sense.

  • It may not, because it's kind of like a secret project, and I haven't given you all the details.

  • But I'll tell you and videos to come.

  • I'll tell you, if it doesn't happen or if it does happen, it's just there's a lot of work going on here.

  • So to come back full circle when it comes to this YouTube channel, what you guys see, I wanted to be as transparent as possible.

  • When it comes to my professional life, it's the documentation of a computer science student who is going to Do you know what millions of other Americans have done?

  • You know, they went to school, they got their degree and then they went into the workforce.

  • However, the twist is, I'm trying to build up myself on the side to become a self employed human being, one with the YouTube channel, my own line prescence.

  • I went that Toby elevated in this 2018 year, want me to be more known?

  • More like I don't want to be famous.

  • I want to be well known in my respective space.

  • I want to be respected in the IOS industry.

  • I want to be respected in the computer science cell for development industry and whatever else I choose to branch off into and the tools I'm using to attain that is learning.

  • I was development going to grow my brand there.

  • That other platform that I was talking to you about.

  • If I you know, if we figure out something that could work well for the both of us, I'm gonna be able to grow my brand there.

  • And, of course, I'm gonna be going my brand on you tube in order to just be where I want to be by the end of 2018.

  • But I hope you guys stuck through it.

  • I know this is a bit mundane for some of you.

  • I'm sure some of you really enjoyed it and free those of you who stick around to the end.

  • Thank you.

  • I really do appreciate it.

  • And if you did, I'm gonna ask you right now if you would please hit that thumbs up button because it does help the YouTube algorithms, the Maur interaction on a video, the more wash I'm on a video, the more likely YouTube will put that video in front of others and the recommended or on the home page, a YouTube type stuff who are interested in sulfur development, arrivals, development, things that nature.

  • So every little bit, every little comment I read every little comment helps immensely in the growing of this channel.

  • Every like, helps immensely in the growing on this channel.

  • And I just really appreciate all 30 3755 of you guys.

  • I appreciate all of you.

  • I think we're building a an amazing community on this channel, and I'll see you guys in the next video.

  • I have lots planned.

  • Hopefully, you'll enjoy it.

  • If you don't enjoy it, let me know if you do enjoy, let me know.

  • But until next time, guys have a good piece.

What's up, guys for us here and welcome to my very first video hotels and 18 Well, that is a CZ.
