Police in Georgia released this footage 6

which shows an officer chasing a suspect. 7

Unit on route, step it up. 8

Picking up speed. 9

Customers in the parking lot stop and watch. 11

But one waits and then sends his cart rolling, 12

colliding with the suspect who crashes to the ground. 13

Police take him into custody. 14

One officer pats the hero shopper on the back 15

as they help him pick up his belongings 16

after that quick thinking assist. 17

Police say the 41 year old suspect 18

is facing charges of felony shoplifting 19

and obstruction of an officer. 20

It's not clear if he has an attorney, 21

or what the hero's average bowling score is. 22

But one would figure, it must be pretty competitive. 23
