  • I'm off on the day trip in that.

  • But today well, I can do is bring the larger backpack with me when that goes.

  • So I just have one bag, two bags.

  • I could put my clothes in here.

  • You have a laptop, bring my camera and more pockets.

  • The better, usually so that I can organize all my stuff.

  • Let me show you guys.

  • What else?

  • That my brain.

  • So has anyone who wears glasses.

  • May you always want to carry a spare?

  • Because if you don't have glasses, you're gonna be other luck.

  • Also carry around a bag of medical supplies, including contact lenses, band aids, first aid, cream flaws, a pair of scissors, just anything else that I might need you because everything is funding games.

  • Assume that somebody loses a night.

  • Best went something like this is gonna come in handy just so that you could get everybody back up going again and back on the road.

  • I tell you that the other thing I'd like to carry around is a toothbrush and toothpaste, and I just carried this every day wherever I go, because as you get older, you'll soon find out that teeth are very important teeth are going to be your limiting factor far before you die.

  • Your teeth are going to be the first to go.

  • Your teeth are going to fall out.

  • It's just going to be painful other way through.

  • And the other great thing about just keeping it in your bag is that when you go out and travel, you don't have to carry around.

  • Toothbrush.

  • Toothpaste is going to be in your back anyway.

  • I always carry around the pen.

  • Thes pens are very useful, especially if you're flying internationally or things like that.

  • You may need to fill out customs forms, immigration forms, many attempts.

  • People were asked me so that's why something like around two pens.

  • So I give the other person the worst pen and I keep the better pen for myself, and I also carry around a pair of spare headphones.

  • My actual headphones I have here.

  • These are my air pots, and these are great.

  • They're all dramatic, and they just work when you put them in your ear and I'll tell you that one more thing offering is usually a photo.

  • Usually what happens is when you're off on a trip, you end up collecting a lot of printed materials Brochures, maps, documents, train tickets, airplane tickets, information.

  • I just keep affording here, and this photo has multiple pockets for additional documents.

  • So there you go.

  • That's my to go pack.

  • Now, you may think that it's very stupid and very silly that I carry around a 1st 8 pack with me.

  • And I've made fun of this before in the past.

  • People think I'm like their dad or something like that.

  • But the funny thing is, when you get hurt, you're gonna be thankful that you have something like this.

  • Speaking of being prepared, you could see even my car.

  • I carry another first hit pair of clothes, just in case I need it.

  • Duct tape, rope and a knife.

  • You know, all these things are very useful things.

  • I should probably add in, like a jump started kit or something like that, too.

  • I've been thinking about getting stuff like that, but yeah, the more tools you know, the better.

  • I just really like being prepared.

  • You know, once you start taking classes like, say, scuba diving class is selling classes, you find that safety is usually everyone's number one priority because nothing is fun when somebody gets hurt.

  • And so what ends up happening is as you learn these sports and you get deeper and eventually picked at the point where people ask you to take a first aid CPR course.

  • And I've taken this course like two or three times where they just teach you how to apply first aid.

  • Generally have you do CPR, and I would encourage all of you guys to also think about first aid and safety.

  • Seriously, somebody has to be the hero.

  • Okay, usually in a group of 100 people, maybe you have one hero.

  • That's a person who knows what to do, how to handle a situation when there's an emergency, and that's a person who everyone is relying on.

  • That's a person who people count on for a long time.

  • I always wondered, How do these people become like they are?

  • How can I become that person?

  • How can I be the hero?

  • You know when there's a crisis, I don't want to be another victim.

  • I wanna be the guy who goes in with other tools, all the materials and equipment to save people, to save lives, to be someone that people get dependent and a lot of people just don't do it.

  • And they let someone else managed that.

  • They let someone else be the hero.

  • Let someone else take care of that, and that's fine, if that's your personality.

  • You know, when I went to selling course, I had this master selling instructor and he used to be a base jump.

  • Divert people with parachuting.

  • He had his own little private aircraft and he would do some film as well.

  • And when I asked him, Well, what's your goal in life?

  • He told me that his goal was to just be very useful.

  • He wanted to generally be a very useful guy who knew a lot of stuff.

  • Hey, guys, I've sat down here for a nice lunch way have here, and she loved the Verde is my favorite.

  • So yeah, as I was saying, my cell, the instructor was just a master, and I really respected him and he was a hero, I would say, and heroes aren't just people who have big attitudes, big confidence, people who look the part.

  • They actually played a part, too, not just knowing first aid, but having that first aid kit having the equipment because knowledge in the end can only go so far.

  • Sometimes what you need is equipment and supplies.

  • Now you may think that I've come to Napa just to get wasted to drink wine.

  • Visit those wineries.

  • It's actually not really true.

  • I don't drink.

  • So I've made the decision and long term investment to give up drinking.

  • I just don't drink anymore.

  • I used to, and I just decided I'm not going to do with AM or it's not good for my health is not good for my intelligence.

  • Seems like, uh, just not that interesting everything to do.

  • And most of the time, if I'm out drinking socially and I have to give up my health just for other people, just like hang out with other people, it's just not really quite worthy form.

  • A.

  • I'm not sure if I really need to be doing something like that, so that's something to think about.

  • If it's really a long term investment type, I think that you won't be doing you really want to pick up this thing for years to come when you want, just stop right now and just give that up, and I think that over the long term, your body's going to thank you for it.

  • And the funny thing is that drinking doesn't even necessarily taste good.

  • A lot of times, people say, Well, this one has hints of blackberries and chocolate.

  • Well, if you really like that, wouldn't you just get some juice?

  • Add in some bits of chocolate and raspberries or pomegranate or whatever it is that you're longing for, and he just makes it up and make that drink.

  • Have a little nonalcoholic cocktail.

  • Whatever it is, you can make any type of flavor that you want a drink.

  • You don't necessarily have to find a single grape or wine fermented and moded in a certain way just to make it taste a certain flavor.

  • That gives you some imaginary idea about what it might be tasting like you could just add in chocolate.

  • That's what you want.

  • It's coffee time way.

  • Have your risen bread looks good.

  • My favorites.

  • Nice little park here, Sanoma Plaza.

  • I always make a stop by here just cause I like open space and open area.

  • Plus, there's a lot of restaurants in this area so I can stop by for a meal.

  • This is where the chickens come home to roost.

  • You know, back in the day when I used to travel, I would spend a lot of timing living in hostels, points from hotel to hotel, hostile to hostile.

  • And after a while, I thought, Okay, well, I'm having a lot of fun, and I'm consuming a lot of these hostiles.

  • But what about the people who built these hostiles?

  • The people who are hosting fees, Travelers?

  • Shouldn't there be a time in my life when I get to the point where I'm also the host not just a traveler, but the one who is part of the culture building up the society, someone who has reached a point in their life where they're the ones hosting others?

  • You know, it's fun being a guest at a dinner party or something.

  • But playing the part of the host, I think it really helps shape you more as a well round the general person, not someone who is mainly dedicated.

  • We just playing games, maybe just working on whatever their job is.

  • But as a general person, who are you?

  • I'm gonna show you something.

  • You see that boat out there, That big one over there, That's my boat, I think, Yeah, I think that's it.

  • I think that's my boat or I like to think so.

  • At least that's nice.

  • You know, if you were to go to these large tech companies like, say, Google, you would find that everybody there just going around carrying backpacks.

  • And that's a funny thing because I spend a large time of my youth run around carrying messenger bags.

  • I thought backpacks didn't look good.

  • I thought they weren't that fashionable.

  • I went through a lot of effort to try to carry messenger bags, try and carry laptops, leaves around and just optimized for all this.

  • But as soon as I got into these large tech companies, I saw that everybody on the first day of orientation, they're given a backpack throughout the rest of the time.

  • Everyone, Oh, young men, women, good looking, bad looking.

  • Everyone is going around carrying a backpack on their back, and there's a few good reasons for this, I would say one is that you have to carry your laptop around everywhere you go in order to ease the burden on your shoulders.

  • Backpack is often the best way to go around carrying computers, heavy computers like, say, laptops.

  • Here we are in Sonoma.

  • So, as I was saying last night, Get with the program, get the backpack.

  • It's what everyone's doing while the successful tech people are doing, Once you get into industry, you'll be carrying around backpack.

  • And you know, the other reason that people carry these things around is for biking Love.

  • These campuses will have bicycles for you to get around from building to building your messenger bags.

  • Just I'm going to work for that and get going.

  • If you have a good backpack, you have a good life.

  • That's why I always like to say special things to level A cases for sponsoring this video.

  • If you want the same backpack as in the video, I managed to get you guys a discount.

  • Check the video description for details.

  • If you like the video, give it the like and subscribe and I'll see you next time.
