in such a beautiful, like, heartfelt,
like, tender, feminine way was just,

that was an amazing cover of Cool,
you seriously, like, pulled my heartstrings
and you are adorable, you have the hair
that I always wanted and I hope that we get to
cross paths one day, you're magic.

This is, like, super fan, so,
the fact that I get to now be rewarded
with seeing, you know, different cultures
interpret one of the songs that I wrote
about my heart being cracked open,
that I never thought anyone would hear,
its pretty, like, incredible, how music heals
and how music is love and love is just
bringing us all together, so,

it sounds weird to me.

thing that I'm saying, so, when you hear it in
the chords are like this and its kinda, like,
tender it starts to make you feel, sort of,
like you're feeling sorry for yourself
but I wasn't feeling sorry for myself,
I was just saying how I felt.

The fact that, now, all these years later

being, like, getting to the club
and everyone just assuming I was a groupie
girlfriend that was there and it wasn't something
that I was angry about, it was just,
it was what it was, you know what I mean?

so, it was a lot of fun.

to me, is how relevant the lyrics are,
still, today, especially with this whole women's movement

This is interesting, too, because when you see
the visual of this, this reminds me of our
very first video that No Doubt ever did called
Trapped In The Box, the actual,
this looks so much like that, to me,
and reminds me of that except her dress is way more fancy
and probably way more money.

sometimes you just love what you love

This is one of my favorite things I've ever seen
and I'll tell you why because this song
represents the crossover from complete devastation
to complete bliss, all at the same time
and, I think, what I'm loving so much
about this version of the song
is being able to hear it on the piano
and hearing the guitar and, just,
actually hearing the song 'cause
sometimes when you produce a song
and you get, like, all of the production on it,
it takes away the chords that original,
just, simpleness of what the actual song is
and the session that we had,
when we wrote this song was completely, like,
channeling, like, it was so spiritual
and it was so magical, hard for me to understand
that this is actually real, really,
really blown away by this, love it so much.
I've been so blessed to be doing
this for so long and I feel like
there's always been these magical moments
that are hard for me to, really,
take in or even understand or really,
like, acknowledge that its really happening
'cause I think, if I did, I would explode with joy.
It just shows that music is very powerful
and it also shows that if you, just,
share your life and be honest and truthful,
people will relate to that and you can help someone
and we all wanna just feel like
we all, kind of, are in the same journey together
and we're gonna be okay.
