Hi everybody!
Today we're going to make delicious Korean traditional tea
With these!
What is it?
Pomegranate!
Pomegranate, in Korean "Seoklyu" (석류)
So we call this seoklyu
"Seok-lyu-cha" (석류차) is pomegranate tea
Very very easy, simple
You guys are going to be very very surprised: "What? That's so easy!"
Everybody knows that pomegranate is good for your health
When I lived in Korea, I used to make seoklyu-cha, but seoklyu was so expensive
Usually the peak season is late fall, but these days in America I can see this all year around
Korean seoklyu is smaller, maybe one third the size of these and also really intense taste
But America and Canada this pomegranate, I don't know, probably this is imported ones
Really big, huge!
I'm going to use these two pomegranates to make good tea
When you choose these, first always choose the nice and smooth with no bruise, no brownish stuff and clean and also beautiful red colour
Usually, inside the fruits, very nice and pretty color but if this is too brownish, when you open these also the fruit is going to look a little bit like rotten, so be sure to find the good-quality pomegranate.
I've just washed these and nicely cleaned and made this guy shiny!
And then, we're going to take out all the seeds
Cut in half like this
Oooh! Juicy!
We need to take out the seeds and you need something
any object in your house
I'm using a wooden spoon or whatever it is, we need to knock out the seeds!
Don't hit your finger, like this
All coming out even some juice, you can see
So fun!
See? Nothing much!
But let's do this last thing, just take out with your finger these guys
Get every last seeds
Ok, done
And then you'll see some membranes
Just pick it out
And then, the other half
my next pomegranate
When you do this, little splash this juice
So be sure not to wear white clothes
my last one
How about that? We can do some rythm
Oh! More fun! Isn't it?

When I was young, my father was working on something like on the wall
He used like a nail
My father was always asking me to bring the hammer, bring something, and I got to always watch my father
And then my father, I saw like he was very focused on something and his face is like, mouth is kinda weird
I saw that a lot of people when they're focused on doing something they have like an especial expression
In my case, it's like

If you don't make tea, just eat it this way
You can serve this
Keep in the refrigerator to make it cold or in the freezer for thirty minutes and serve this in a small bowl as a desert. Or just like me, you guys can meake tea.
3 and a half cups of pomegranate seeds from two large pomegranates
White sugar, one cup
Pomegranate, each seed, its surface is like plastic
So we need to pound this, crush it a little bit
Whit what? This one!

50 times!
And then, sugar
Mix well
It looks georgeus and delicious
Isn't it?
Transfer this mixture here
We are going to make tea right after this
Hmm, delicious~
see? I have a lot of pomegranate tea
And after finishing all my pomegranate tea, I hope my complexion is better. [laughs]

Really beautiful pink color and filled with pomegranate seeds
It sould be delicious and have a really good flavour

This color is a natural color from the pomegranate
And after finishing this cup, I feel a little healthier
