Well, that has spectacularly backfired.

The markets went immediately into a tailspin.

The Dow is currently down about 2000 points, and he also simultaneously managed to insult the European leaders and at the same time send the traveling public into chaos.

He's also hurt the airlines, who had no idea that his travel ban was imminent.

What seems to be the big criticism here, John, is that he hasn't focused on public health, where Americans are desperate for information on testing kits.

Instead, he has chosen in his own inimitable style to instead point the finger.

Facing criticism, he hasn't acted quickly enough.

He was blaming them, too.
