I know it's kind of been a while since I've been on my channel again.

I apologize.

I feel like this just happened a couple of months ago.

I'm so sorry I haven't uploaded recently.

I was studying up for my AP exams and finals China to any of you guys who are still in school and struggling with these things too.

But this is my last week of school, and then I'm going to be graduated high school.

And I'm so excited I'll be able to enjoy myself and be able to make more videos for you guys, hopefully on a regular basis.

So I kind of have a lot of updates to go over in this video.

The 1st 1 I'm gonna talk about just real quick is that I decided to change my channel name as you guys might have noticed.

When this video showed up in your subscription box.

I originally made my YouTube name model citizen kind of on a whim because I was just really excited to upload my first video on.

That was the first kind of, like, punny name that I came up with, but I feel like it didn't really apply to what I was doing on my channel.

I'm not a fashion model or anything close to it.

So I felt like the name wasn't really fitting anymore.

And also, I found out that there is like a boutique somewhere in Florida that's also named Model Citizen.

So I didn't really wanna, like, infringe on their name anymore.

So I've decided to change my channel name to best dressed.

I certainly am not the best dressed person in the world either, but I would do to win the senior superlative best dress, and I feel like it really fits my channel because I do a lot with fashion.

So hopefully you guys will find this channel name or fitting.

Everything else about my channel is staying the same.

So don't worry.

Please don't unsubscribe from me because of the name change.

The next thing you might have noticed.

It's kind of subtle, but I did change my hair color.

I've bleached and dyed it recently by myself.

At home.

I was just feeling a bit of a lighter color for summer, and I really like how braids and waves and stuff will show up on my hair Maur instead of it just being like a block of dark.

So previously my hair was all like the color at the root.

So, like a really dark brown.

Now it's like a little bit later.

Overall, I'm really happy with it.

The only annoying thing is that my hair is definitely a little bit more damaged.

And I can only watch my hair about once a week because it died that I put in, it is gonna fade out, and it's gonna turn super orange.

I was planning on going completely blonde, but I kind of freaked out while I was dying my here and I realized that my hair might fall off and my parents might like, kick me out of the house because they really don't like it was high time I hear anyway.

So please let me know in the comments down below.

If you'd like me to make a video about it, I don't actually have original footage from when I was dying my hair at home because I was like, really scared.

And I didn't wanna have to spend time setting up the camera while my hair like burned off because I left John too long or anything like that.

But I was thinking I could re enact it with, like, conditioner and kind of explain the process.

So you let me know if you guys would find that interesting or helpful at all.

What else?

Get some other life updates graduating this Tuesday from high school.

So I'm gonna stay at home for the summer, and then I'm gonna head out to California for college.

You a warm weather, and maybe I'll finally be able to make some videos outside.

On a less significant note, I guess I finally did my nails.

If you watch videos, maybe you know that I, like, never have my nails done.

I've been trying to get into this like manager and nail art trend.

Might have just really playing right now, but this is like the nicest manicure I've ever done on myself.

And I'm really proud because normally just, like chip off my nail polish, I'm terrible.

Yeah.
