Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, seen here on Capitol Hill just days ago, announcing on Twitter that he has been diagnosed with covert 19 becoming the first senator infected, his colleagues now facing the same confusion and questions as so many across this country. Yes, yes, we're wearing a lunch together with Rand and, uh, hope he's doing very well, But we have to determine whether any of us should self quarantine this result of being in the same room and with just hours before the stock market reopens and the country on edge tonight, that massive stimulus bill still up in the air Just days ago, President Trump said he wanted multiple rounds of checks in the pockets of suffering Americans not talking about 1000 check. We're talking about much more than that. We're also talking about doing phases, but today his Treasury secretary, Steve Mnuchin, says workers will receive just one check for now. Anyone making up to $99,000 will get a smaller check and families with household income under $198,000 we'll get upto $500 per child, some now signaling the total price tag could be at least $2 trillion. Democrats say the two sides are still far apart, taking issue with key elements of the bill, including a $500 billion relief fund for corporations, their issues that have not been resolved. They're serious issues. We hope we can get them resolved quickly. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell insists the bill is moving forward, but make no mistake about it will be boating tomorrow. I mean, the wheel has to stop at some point. All right. Rachel Scott joins us live from the White House and Rachel. We just heard right there. Senator Mitch McConnell. He wants a vote tomorrow, but we're hearing from so many lawmakers concerned about Senator Rand pulse diagnosis. Is this vote still gonna happen? Yeah, that's right. Time and President Trump just said that he would be in favor of our proposal to allow for remote voting, but that is highly unlikely. Now, we are learning tonight that Senator Mitt Romney has indeed decided to self quarantine after coming into close contact with Senator Rand Paul, who tested positive.
