  • it's me.

  • I'm back with a vengeance.

  • And this time I brought my erstwhile pal Lisa Eldridge.

  • He's gonna do some beautiful makeup on me today.

  • Absolutely.

  • I think we need to change.

  • Quite frankly.

  • I think we need to leave the eyeliner just to one side, just just for today on Dhe.

  • I'm going to suggest something a bit more eighties to you, which I know is not your thing or very sixties.

  • You're into that whole.

  • Yeah, I think we can do this in a really stylish Alexa way ago.

  • So bit Stephanie Seymour who?

  • Nick Rhodes in their bright colors here in your style, but just to mix it up a bit.

  • Really?

  • Okay, So something new.

  • Something like glam.

  • A little bit more supermodel e of that era.

  • Fashion.

  • Cool.

  • Here we are.

  • All your brushes, clean course they are.

  • Another thing that people don't talk about is how important it is to keep a clean kitchen.

  • Makeup Don't understand dirty brushes.

  • I really don't understand it because she can't be good makeup.

  • Get gentle shampoo and kind of put a little bit in your hands.

  • Do a bit of that.

  • Squeeze them out, rinse them really well.

  • And then the trick is put them back into a really nice shape before they dry on, dry them off the end of the table.

  • So the air circulates and they dry.

  • Really nicely realized.

  • Uh, So what's gonna happen then?

  • What color you putting on?

  • Now we're going to go a little bit purple e on the eyes, which I know is gonna freak you out.

  • So I'm starting with a brownie plum color.

  • So it's not too shocking.

  • Do you know what's funny is I'm not even that bothered about purples.

  • But for some reason, in my company, whenever we're choosing Pantone's or like colors for something I'm always like.

  • What about lilac?

  • And like, I don't actually wear lilac.

  • I just can't stop making to see you're drawn to it.

  • Love it.

  • It's a lovely color.

  • Apparently, purple is the color of longing.

  • I always said no.

  • What's that say about you longing for some sleep, please.

  • So, yeah, So this is not to purposely yet, but I'm gonna work on top, and I'm gonna put a little bit of glitter over this as well since we're going for the full disco.

  • So I put on a more of a muted purposely brown color.

  • And I'm going in with a very strong electric color.

  • It looks like a mermaid's bra.

  • It doesn't like a moment, Robert.

  • On top of this lovely, muted shade, so is brown underneath?

  • Yeah, it's kind of like a a muted plum shade underneath.

  • And then from what I can feel, you just do it in the corners I'm doing in the center, on into the corner.

  • Okay, but of a wash.

  • See, I like that.

  • No, because it's you know, the thing with purples and reds and those plummy colors around the eyes in orbit a little bit, Roberti.

  • Quite frankly.

  • So we're gonna keep a lot off black now around the lashes.

  • Okay, Black lashes from black liner.

  • This rapper t mean, you know, pink eyes.

  • This is a mixture of the three shades.

  • I'm just gonna smoke along that lower lash line.

  • You know, I watched Madman the other day.

  • I can't tell the story.

  • Is this a spoiler alert?

  • Okay, let's just say that one of the characters dies.

  • Really, Andhra, I'm confused.

  • Madman's finished.

  • It has, But just in case was not seen open anyway.

  • And when in her, like will she's like, I want you to get the lipstick from my purse.

  • That's what I wanna wear on my coffee.

  • And I was like, I thought, I suppose that is a thing.

  • Yeah, that's what Marilyn Monroe did.

  • She had her makeup artist.

  • That what with the author of her career did have a two pack to them.

  • If anything happens to me, have to do my hair.

  • Did my hope.

  • I'll do yours.

  • Thank you.

  • What you gonna do with me?

  • What?

  • Look, um, I gonna have I give you the key.

  • I have allies with Mermaid brought back.

  • It may give me.

  • You really are New York.

  • Kind of purple eyes and awake.

  • What's that?

  • Big litter.

  • Oh, lovely clothes.

  • I was gonna pop this on.

  • Gonna do this before the concealer case.

  • We've got any drop Our SJ just going to use their own to send.

  • Oh, yes, Gorgeous.

  • This is actually quite a foolproof Look who's just put the color on.

  • Just keep a clean brush.

  • And when in doubt, just keep going over with a clean buffing brush.

  • Just keep blending those edges because the glitter is meant to be It's not meant to be like Plus, Don.

  • It's kind of a feeling more than a technical thing, right?

  • So you can kind of get away.

  • We just patting your own.

  • So we're gonna my sarge into your lash line.

  • It doesn't have to be.

  • I don't want it to be a kind of like graphic line says more because you got all this color.

  • So it was nice to ground it with something which is darker.

  • So that's indoor pub like a brown.

  • Yes, like a brownie.

  • Burgundy, deep color.

  • And I'm gonna use a bit of black as well.

  • Do people do this in the eighties?

  • Yeah, they did.

  • Remember my sister had, like, a huge color palette thing and was all like electric colors.

  • Yeah, I mean, it was This is quite a chic eighties.

  • Locally, early.

  • This is more of a kind of fashion.

  • The look, But it was usually orange, blue, yellow, purple, pink.

  • Now, have you seen black eyeliner?

  • This is a black or pencil just along the lower left.

  • Already here.

  • It'll take all that move.

  • Andi, just going to let that kind of work its way in.

  • And that's very eighties to have that kind of dark black coal pencil all along the inner water line their focus on something.

  • Keep your eyes on that thing.

  • Keep your eyes on that thing, right.

  • Plenty of black mascara.

  • And we need a lot.

  • Which ones?

  • That plea.

  • This is Sensei, which is a Japanese one.

  • Is this is This is going to stay on for tonight.

  • Oh, doesn't smudge.

  • It's one of the smarter proof ones.

  • Okay, let's see.

  • Right now we have to remove this mayor area of your head.

  • Maybe a straw from here down because the eyes of the getters dropped down here.

  • So that happens a lot when you're using strong colors or glitter, do the eyes first, and then do your foundation after its.

  • I'm gonna remove that and then do your funding, okay?

  • Yeah, with concealer.

  • If it's too light, just makes it worse.

  • She, uh, people who are a little bit blue under the eyes.

  • And if it's too light, you get tons of gray.

  • So you need something which is picture or a little bit Maur Just richer.

  • Really?

  • To counteract the blueness.

  • I mean, everyone's different.

  • Some people have more pigmentation under the eyes yours on bad.

  • You have a tiny bit of purple.

  • So this is why I'm using slightly more yellowy, Peachy yellow.

  • I am very tired.

  • So what I've done now is that I've used a little bit of concealer here, and they're not not that much because, you know, got perfect skin.

  • Thanks your neuron.

  • But we've got a little bit under the eyes.

  • Andi, I used a little bit around your nose center of your chin in between your Lisa.

  • Well, because I know that you want to tell everyone that I've got a horse face.

  • No, I don't because I've got a horse places.

  • Well, I said we've both got horse faces earlier on.

  • I said, but I want to say that on camera.

  • Now you've made me say it way have got.

  • And that's why we can't wait.

  • Okay?

  • Browse.

  • Yeah, love, We're gonna go Big Brooke and Wild Brooke.

  • I broke eyebrows.

  • Brooke Shields.

  • Isn't she just the mega babe of browse?

  • Yeah, even now.

  • I mean, I just kind of obsessed with her, so I'm using this little pen.

  • Show you This is nice because you can draw actual hair.

  • So on Dhe it is waterproof.

  • Do you think if you have the time, you could do quite convincing beard in that?

  • Definitely.

  • I think that tonight we should do a kind of hipster.

  • Deeply.

  • I spoke tonight, so we're gonna brush them up to start with on this.

  • Just helps me to see how they look when they're brushed up.

  • Then I always brush them down and you brought them all down with me.

  • That's what I do.

  • That's how I do brows.

  • And I think when I meet a new client that doesn't know my ways and I brushed them all down.

  • You can see the panic, because if let's reenact it, I get it.

  • I'm a Yeah, and they got out there and I say, Don't worry, we'll I just do that because I like to see Oh, you like to see the foundation's.

  • When the brow goes down, you can actually see where there's any gaps like underneath, so I can see that there when I brush them down.

  • I can do that.

  • But you wouldn't be able to do while they're brushed up.

  • And then when you brush him back, you're like, Well, that's just filling in that gap.

  • So Where are we going for?

  • With house?

  • It's It's the art shop.

  • Yeah, there were going to do them natural.

  • I think so.

  • We're doing lots of extra has here and then underneath it's gonna feel in on We love this wild effect is going on at the end here.

  • Next, we're gonna do some soap brows, and this is a block of soap with some water home on dhe.

  • I'm going to make your brows or eighties fabulous.

  • And why using it?

  • So because they'll stick like that.

  • Have a look because they're dirty.

  • Oh, I love gorgeous.

  • Right.

  • Well, let those set now blush.

  • I'm coming for you, Brookie.

  • We are going to dio g Bohdan Blush, George, but not too easily.

  • So I'm going to start with a soft pink.

  • Then I'm gonna go hot pink.

  • Beware the horsehead.

  • So may.

  • Yep.

  • Stay straight like that on DDE.

  • So I'm gonna go along.

  • I'm not gonna go underneath your cheekbone.

  • I'm just gonna go slightly on top of a cheekbone and put a wash all the way along there.

  • This reminds me of swimming club in the eighties yet very that the balcony of mothers with a shiny bob cardigan with massive shoulder pads.

  • And yes, you're their full bluff, you're there.

  • There's hardly anything on the brush, so I know it feels like there's a lot of the reason this is the base layer, and this is the good way to do it honestly, to make it modern.

  • You don't want to go in straight with the strong strokes, so don't go in with a light wash first.

  • So I'm using these colors, which look insanely bright on they are, but I'm used them really softly beside.

  • So it's like a little tickle rather than a feels really relaxing.

  • Yeah, suppose that's a very light layer of blush.

  • Hardly anything but it's a base layer.

  • Now I'm going to go in with a slightly pinker.

  • This is the blush that money's on your cheeks next, but so I have a nice, seamless finish.

  • Gonna start on your eyes and take that up.

  • It's the blush there, right blush.

  • Now we're talking.

  • Now you have got blush on laughing.

  • No, no, no, no.

  • We're gonna go returned in a little scary for you.

  • You don't do this.

  • That's like changing rooms when they walk into a room there like surprise?

  • Yes.

  • Now I'm loving it.

  • Do this mad as well.

  • Face it, you're addicted to blush.

  • I like that a little pink there.

  • Okay, so we're gonna do lips now.

  • I'm thinking proper cyclamen pink.

  • So got you.

  • Just say future.

  • Just say you sure know it's much more a fuchsia lip.

  • My way of doing this is to you, maybe for attention.

  • Do then you like No, Listen, my wife dig this.

  • Yes, is follow the natural lip line to start with.

  • And even if you know that you want to completely change the shape of your lips, particularly using red or a dark pink reason I like to do this is because once the lipsticks on following your natural lip shape, you can actually see the shape and then pencil afterwards.

  • Because if you do that line round the outside before where you think it's gonna look good, right?

  • You don't actually see the full picture.

  • Okay, So better to do your first layer with the lipstick, and then we will We're going to go pouty, full lift, big mouth.

  • Yeah, because theeighties is all about big mouth strikes on some big gobs.

  • Big mouths and bops, bobs and gobs.

  • Yeah, Bob's gobs and shouted shoulder boards.

  • Yeah, exactly.

  • Okay, so we've roughly done the natural lip shape there.

  • Firstly, great color.

  • Secondly, let's fix this shape.

  • So I'm going to use I'm actually gonna use a pink pencil to get the shape that I'm gonna use a red pencil Justus contour and shade that in a corner.

  • So we get that, of course.

  • And I voted like it's coming at you.

  • Yeah, it's really coming.

  • Whoa.

  • So the trick with this is when you're applying the pencil just to almost mass are should do, like lots of small circles rather than just doing that line around the outside.

  • And then it just never looks like you've overdrawn, particularly as we using a matte lipstick on a mat pencil.

  • So you can't really see whether real lips are on that new shape is.

  • And then once you've done that kind of draw little bit onto the lips as well and just keep stepping back and checking the shape, okay?

  • And then smile for me lips together.

  • This is a really good cheap for the lower lip because everyone has that little bit of extra give underneath the lower lip.

  • And if you just smile and go right down to where that little ridges you'll get an extra bit of volume there.

  • Just having some red to the inner corner just to give you that extra volume just blending in.

  • And then a final dab of pink Dantzler.

  • She's talking again when I'm doing the lipstick.

  • That's my worst nightmare.

  • Okay, right.

  • Let's have a bit of Oh, plenty, highlighter.

  • Let's have a look.

  • Is this real reason?

  • Yeah, this is released.

  • We're gonna go down here to keep eighties.

  • This is gonna be quite hasn't.

  • Should be made of bronze off.

  • Definitely would have been some nice bronze action around this time.

  • I think we're almost done.

  • I just fancy a touch more blush.

  • One thing I'm gonna do And this is a nice tip, actually is to take a small brush.

  • I brush and brush a mouse with it, even take a little bit bronze either on the cup.

  • Darling on.

  • Gonna go across with the bronze.

  • Oh, why?

  • Just cause you kind of pulls the whole thing together.

  • Sometimes it goes a little stock underneath when you doing colors.

  • And if you just add a little bit of bronzer.

  • Just it doesn't.

  • Have you lived in a psychologist Means that that line underneath debut days Exactly.

  • That's the word I'm looking for The final swell over the lids.

  • I was like to check.

  • This is the moment now to kind of check that you like everything tonight.

  • Tonight you will be well.

  • Die.

  • It's me.

  • Okay, guys, this is it.

  • This is my eighties assassin, Robert Palmer.

  • Glam Look, Which is very different for me.

  • Lisa, Thank you so much.

  • This is it.

  • Your modern take on eighties makeup.

  • Thanks for watching everyone.

  • Make sure that you subscribe.

  • Ring the bell.

  • Comment.

  • Do you like it?

  • What else would you like me to try?

  • I love this.

  • I think it's great and it's fun.

  • It any makeup?

  • Where it one night.

  • Andi, wash off the future's right.
