  • If you watch the Super Bowl commercials on Sunday,

  • chances are you saw that LEGO Masters is a new competition

  • show that's premiering tomorrow night on Fox.

  • We decided to do our own version.

  • And who better to use than a kid who loves LEGOs,

  • a guy who loves Beyoncé, and for some reason our producer Matt?

  • Take a look.

  • Beep beep.

  • Boom.

  • Hey y'all, how y'all doing?

  • You'll like my new ride?

  • It's very LEGO, because LEGO Masters is a new show on Fox.

  • And I decided I wanted to have my own competition show.

  • Hi there, I'm Aaron, and I'm considered

  • to be one of the best LEGO Masters in the country.

  • Hi, I'm Nate.

  • I'm seven years old, and I've been building

  • LEGOs for most of my life.

  • Hi, my name is Matt.

  • I have no idea why I'm here.

  • Today, you are going to build some LEGO creations.

  • Yes!

  • I know, right?

  • But first, we have to find out what you're going to build.

  • First up, Aaron.

  • A building.

  • Make your favorite animal.

  • I know what my favorite is.

  • Don't tell me, though.

  • If you know it, just keep it inside, OK?

  • OK.

  • All right, Matt.

  • What is happening?

  • Oh, honey, just pick a thing.

  • Make your self-portrait.

  • All right, over here we have three identical tables.

  • Each table has a sketch pad, colored pencils,

  • and a storage bin.

  • So you have five minutes to go to your table

  • and sketch out your creation.

  • Nate seems to really know what he's doing.

  • Matt's taking his time, per usual.

  • Done.

  • I'm doing a panda in the beach.

  • When the prompt said to build a building,

  • the very first one I thought of is one of my favorite buildings

  • in the world, which is the Chateau de Chenonceau, which

  • is a French Castle.

  • OK, so we got a head.

  • I think it's pretty good like this.

  • You got more of a square head.

  • This is more of a oval head.

  • That's the nicest thing you've ever said to me.

  • Well, thank you.

  • OK, Nate, so got a little palm tree.

  • Question, what's this exactly?

  • Why are you here?

  • It looks familiar.

  • What is this?

  • Get out of here.

  • There are kids.

  • Good God.

  • Oh my goodness.

  • This why we don't bring you nowhere.

  • Here is my wall of LEGO bricks.

  • You have exactly one hour to create your creation.

  • A hour?

  • However, you have 15 seconds to grab all the LEGO

  • pieces you need.

  • Go!

  • [HORN]

  • I can't reach it.

  • Here.

  • Thanks, man.

  • [INAUDIBLE]

  • You're doing good.

  • Over here.

  • I need some of this color too.

  • Get what you need.

  • Back to your workstations, everyone.

  • Perfect.

  • Matt, get out of the kitchen.

  • [LAUGHING]

  • See here.

  • That should work.

  • This is looking good.

  • You don't have no hair.

  • That's my face.

  • It is?

  • How you doing Aaron?

  • I'm good.

  • I'm good.

  • I've got a piece done already.

  • Oh, is Aaron doing good?

  • Good, good.

  • I was worried about him.

  • Oh, this kid is going again.

  • Let's see what we got.

  • That's not fair.

  • Life's not fair.

  • Don't I know it.

  • 30 minutes everybody.

  • 30 minutes.

  • (SINGING) Everybody dance now.

  • Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun.

  • Everybody dance now.

  • So, Nate, how long have you been building LEGOs?

  • Five years.

  • OK, look at you.

  • Just a expert builder.

  • Such a professional.

  • And I know who's not.

  • And his first letter of his name is M.

  • Woah, shade.

  • The shade of it all.

  • All right everybody, 10 seconds.

  • Oh, wow.

  • 10 seconds?

  • 10 seconds, baby.

  • [DRAMATIC MUSIC]

  • [BUZZER]

  • It's a wrap.

  • It is now time to look at our LEGO creations.

  • Let's start here with Aaron.

  • Oh my God.

  • This is exquisite.

  • Thank you.

  • OK, show me.

  • No!

  • Well, this is an island?

  • Yes.

  • OK, it's a panda bear.

  • Yes.

  • This is beautiful.

  • OK, you ready?

  • No, are you ready?

  • Bam!

  • This kind of looks like a shadow of--

  • now, when you put it up to your face, I see it.

  • This could be a LEGO set.

  • It could be.

  • So could mine.

  • Maybe not his.

  • That must mean that our winner today

  • is the one of the only, Nate.

  • What?

  • Yes!

  • Yeah!

  • But wait, that is not all.

  • $1,000!

  • Oh my God, $1,000!

  • Congratulations, Nate.

  • A round of applause for Nate, everyone.

  • A round of applause.

  • Well, thank you everyone and thank you Ellen.

  • Until next time.

  • Bye.

  • LEGO Masters premieres tomorrow night on Fox at nine o'clock.

  • Nate is not the only winner.

  • You're all going home with a $150 Visa gift card.
