That's a frog. If these alligators want to eat frogs, it's going to be frogs. Oh, that's a big alligator. NARRATOR: Normally, the boys would hunt this Cajun delicacy for their own dinner tables. But they quickly discover they're not the only ones after frogs tonight. They got five alligators for every frog we see. [splash] I saw the frog. And then I saw that alligator splash. Frogs typically are caught by hand. But, this particular night, there's a lot of alligators. We got to be real careful. NARRATOR: Louisiana law forbids hunting gators after sundown. So the boys can only watch as the beasts enjoy a frog feast. I got an alligator with a frog in his mouth. He's eating that sucker. Caught the frog right in front of us. That's what they living on. That's why they're in here. That's a big frog right there. That's a big one. You watch him, T. Got him! [splash] Whoa, T. That was a close call. NARRATOR: Thanks to the gator population explosion, there's beasts swimming everywhere. I've been going to Froggy Bayou. Years and years ago, I might see eight alligators. And then now, every direction, everywhere you see, everywhere you stop, there's an alligator here. There's one here. There's one here. It's real dangerous. Let's get another one, buddy. That's a big one. Another big one. Good job, T. Got him. You got him, buddy. That's a big frog. That alligator's trying to get him. We've got to run lines some more, so what don't we call it a night, T. Yeah. I like frog legs. I wonder if he'd eat fried frog legs. NARRATOR: Daniel and Big T are checking to see if their frog bait is luring in big bulls. Let's see if it's going to pay off. It's got a little weight to him, T. Got a lot of bubbles. [water bubbling] Frog's doing the trick, buddy. [music playing] [grunts] Mm! [water splashing] Pull, T, pull! [grunts] That's a big one. Golly. Pull, T! [grunts] Oh, he bit the boat. Watch him, T. Wow. [grunts] T, I'm going to get you a shot. Getting a shot on this thing. Getting a shot on him. Shoot him, T. Shoot him. [grunts] [gunshot] Good shot! Look at the size of that thing. That was a good one to start. Let me see if I can get this around him. We put a frog on the hook, and we've got him. It looks like our plan is working, and that's excellent. Oh, our frog's down, buddy. Let me see what we got here, T. Hold on, buddy. [music playing] [grunts] Yeah. Oh! Watch him. Be careful. He's a fighter. Look how big that thing is. Another bull, buddy. [water splashing] That's a good one, T. It's a feisty one's over here. Man, them fellas here splash. Shoot him, T. Shoot him! Whoa! [grunts] Can't hold him. Whoa. He's about to-- whoa! Shoo, dog it. Pulled it off on my finger. Had it wrapped around my hand. Come on. Get your nose off that grass. Come back here, big boy. Come on. [grunts] OK. All right. All right. All right. All right. Woo! That's a mean one, T. I thought he was going to bite your gun, T. That's all, right. I'm holding it in my hand. Come on, T. Shoot him, T. Shoot him. Come here, big boy. [gunshot] Another bull, T. They love those frogs. All right. Go ahead. These frogs are a lot better than I expected. Awesome. Awesome bait. Our pile of frogs turned into a pile of alligators, didn't it? Yep, sure did. T and I have had a little bit of trouble catching some. But, at the end of the day, it's worth it. Man, that's some big alligators. [music playing]
