Good morning.
-

-
I've never been to college before.
-
We welcome to Tokyo Tuesday.
-
And if you're a regular viewer, welcome back.
-
No, it is still your line.
-
That is totally OK.
-
I'm a bit of if you don't mind taking way real quick with Sunday's right today.
-
Anyway, guys.
-
So right now what we're doing is we're walking from college boy station to home call Agoi where all the excitement is.
-
And there's one very specific thing that I'm hoping to achieve today.
-
You see, I hear there's an entire street in cargo, a dedicated candy candy.
-
And yes, I am well aware of the irony of coming out to a beautiful Japanese town just to check out snacks.
-
But, you know, I've got a guide with me.
-
So what?
-
You've been to color going before, right?
-
I have only a couple of times a guy.
-
No pressure, no pressure.
-
What?
-
What is going Cargo.
-
It a part of it is a really old town.
-
I'm so not good with history.
-
I didn't work from ok old factories that really preserved all of the buildings on you could buy a lot of souvenirs and things from around that time, period, and it's just gonna really cool.
-
Traditional feel awesome.
-
Better description than I could have done because I've never been here.
-
So let's go this way and check it out.
-
Also, temples everywhere.
-
A lot of these right here, soaps.
-
And in case you can't make it all the way up, co boy, you can also find something the Backstreets size.
-
Kirby.
-
I think we've stumbled on the Candy Street way.
-
I could not be more excited left in this.
-
Here we go.
-
There's just something about these classic penny Candies That just means the world these ones here, my favorite there just called Candy Boggs.
-
They've got kind of a soft texture, but I really like that biggest challenge coming into this place almost every single time is just choosing.
-
But I'm gonna get you can't get everything.
-
Can you also these right here native and they do Candies are really need.
-
You like mixing a little bit of water and it makes like this life marshmallow, restyle paste.
-
These are really good.
-
Am I?
-
Do you have a favorite?
-
What is it?
-
Is it just general candy?
-
Like the classic like Penny candy style can be a little front crackers or, like a really good.
-
That's what I was Just Are you ready?
-
They have a new flavor.
-
That right there.
-
I just saw this.
-
I just saw just before I really want to get it.
-
Looks certain.
-
Good.
-
I've only ever had the classic flavors before.
-
Yeah, named Mellon said us when white started.
-
Can we get it?
-
I think way.
-
Just get a bunch of stuff, All right?
-
We're gonna do shopping now, so wait, did by a lot.
-
It's a lot.
-
If we eat a little one day, we're gonna waste, try and face ourselves.
-
No promises this straight will forever have a place deep in my heart.
-
Now, speaking of places, I just need to find a place to eat.
-
This thing is insane.
-
Your teeth gonna pull out 90 to go.
-
Do you may notice that we're already eating because we're doing an entire food video until feel creative right here.
-
Ways open up box candy.
-
That one that have never tried before and the original.
-
I've always been really attached to the original, but this new one is winning me over.
-
It's slightly sour.
-
It's kind of a little bit of a fist to it, which is really nice.
-
It's all them.
-
So did.
-
So.
-
This is a cold one.
-
Does not disappoint.
-
We've done a lot of sweet.
-
Why don't we take a trip into savory tax?
-
Sounds get, like, savory.
-
So for savory way.
-
Have these, like, talking about that things Or corn snacks or key?
-
OK, because we have this.
-
They always freaked me out.
-
Like, What do you mean, a big cuts you in, like a pack it.
-
How does That way.
-
Okay, it's gonna be a big cut.
-
Imagine it being just in a packed What is that?
-
It's even up.
-
I'm gonna give you this.
-
And it just like, yeah, I watched a documentary once on how they remained.
-
It was actually really impressive.
-
And it made me want to eat it just the opposite of how most documentaries food work.
-
Yeah, the more you should.
-
The better against, I think.
-
But I'm good.
-
The adventure continues.
-
We're seriously doing so much food for this Tokyo creative video.
-
I can't wait for to come out, gets a February.
-
Right.
-
Sorry.
-
Wait.
-
Would you say that co ago is more of it like things to do or the atmosphere of the area.
-
Maybe the atmosphere.
-
There are some good things to do those, well, there's a beautiful river with suck it all down and you can take a cruise down the river, which is one of the big things in spring that you could do you think, is why I came with you.
-
I know nothing about this.
-
It's cool, though.
-
Lately I'm into exploring areas that I've never been before.
-
So this this is definitely one of those places that should be on the list.
-
It's like a perfect day trip from Tokyo.
-
Speaking of which, day trips from Tokyo playlist was also right above Emma's head.
-
So where we heading now?
-
Headed to call a shrine.
-
Okay, which has really cute.
-
Really?
-
This might be my new favorite shrine.
-
I love this, but what's this, amico?
-
Jeez, home equity.
-
They are fish.
-
And inside is the fortune that you're gonna be called.
-
So get your lucky, random fortune.
-
You have to use one of these fishing rod, you have to catch the fish.
-
So the pink ones, I think tell you what you are.
-
Your love fortune is going to be getting things ready.
-
Ones just normal.
-
All right, so the shrine was fantastic.
-
Were back out in the streets.
-
Now I really just like this area.
-
That shrine isn't exactly near like the main area, right?
-
Right.
-
So how did you find it?
-
I actually have a friend who lives in common Goya.
-
So she took me around, Show me all the best spots.
-
It was amazing.
-
So, yeah, I didn't even know what the show was called.
-
I had to go.
-
Like trying with fish was really made.
-
Thank you.
-
No worries.
-
I'm actually glad that we've come back to this spot here because this, like, dilapidated little building, is something I wanted to show you guys.
-
And I forgot to show you before.
-
Look at this.
-
A little building that could.
-
Sure it did.
-
At one point.
-
Not anymore.
-
Finally, inside where it's a little warmer, growing sweet potato just in a glass.
-
OK.
-
College is about 10 times more beautiful at night.
-
Like it's beautiful during the daytime.
-
But this this is nice.
-
I just love the blue sky contrast ID on the streets.
-
And I'm really glad that I had the chance to come out and do this today because I'm leaving for Milan, Italy, and like, three days, I'm leaving on the 30th three days in a couple days.
-
And I always love to do something really Japanese before I leave the country.
-
That way I can feel a culture gap between where I am and where I'm going.
-
It's called so it's not even slightly quieter here.
-
It all people yelling all the time.
-
But thank you so much for joining today.
-
No worries was good to be.
-
Is this your first Tokyo to think?
-
I think so.
-
