  • thank you very much have to being a golf pro entrepreneur athlete and a former football player.

  • I've learned that nothing is normal in high school.

  • My team, my school was a part of a winning tradition.

  • I was the quarterback and I started as a South more and we played in Giants Stadium in front of 40,000 fans, a lot of players and at my school went on to play college football and a few played in the NFL, so we knew howto win.

  • So I decided to go to University of Iowa.

  • I was highly recruited by some top level schools and I chose to go to Iowa because some former players from my school went there and collectively we decided that we're going to turn this program around and leave a legacy at the University of Iowa.

  • They didn't have a winning tradition and they was at the bottom of the conference.

  • Excuse me, they was at the bottom of the conference and they didn't have a winning season for 21 straight years.

  • So that was tough for me because not only was I used to winning, I was used to start and there was 100 and 20 players on the team, and I wanted to play now.

  • Okay, so I was frustrated and I would cry and call home and say, I want to transfer because I wasn't patient and my parents said, No, you're going to stick it out.

  • And so I had to look inward and start assessing myself.

  • Now I knew I was a part of Ah, I knew I was a part of a a big time program and I thought I knew howto win, and I thought I was ready to win.

  • But no, not at all, because you've got to get your body in your mind prepared for the pressure, the play in front off ah, 105,000 screaming fans.

  • Now, today I work with people of all ages, teaching them what I learned how to win the day and you can't win the day just on the field.

  • You have to learn the win the day off the field.

  • So when in the day means winning in the classroom went in in the weight room, winning among your team and even winning before you even get out of the bed, adversity will strike so whether it's the injury or fell exam or miss assignment.

  • Hopefully you have prepared yourself for the wind, the day attitude.

  • I mean attitude.

  • So be able to get back to what the issue is and learn how to fix it and then put the resource is back around you so you can have how the wind, the day attitude.

  • So you might have an idea and you might feel stuck.

  • Don't sit in your frustrations.

  • You gotta have.

  • You gotta win the moment, Bill.

  • Just skills and resource is and what you already know because everybody don't have a mental and everybody don't have a winning tradition.

  • But I can assure you that everybody can win the day, so we're gonna win the day right now, so we're gonna have some fun.

  • Okay, so we're gonna we're gonna have some fun and create a little competition.

  • So we're going to say that we are all on the same team.

  • Teen Ted X.

  • Okay, so we're gonna I'm a divide the room right down the middle, and we're gonna have our offense and the defense.

  • Okay.

  • So is very important in any team setting, whether it's a business, whether it's a football team or the Army, Navy or Air Force is that we're all on the same page.

  • Because when you go into these Lau stadiums is very crucial that we get off on the same count.

  • Okay, So what we're gonna do tonight is this is going to signify the snap with a football.

  • And all you have to do is get your hand ready and clap and unison when my hands cross.

  • So we split the room down the middle of the offenses on the right and the and the defense on the left.

  • So?

  • So offense.

  • You ready?

  • Ready?

  • What do you think?

  • Defense?

  • Yeah.

  • Uh, yeah.

  • I could do better now.

  • All right, Defense ready?

  • Whoa!

  • Oh, Now that's a strong defense.

  • Okay, Office ready.

  • Now, that's what I'm talking about.

  • That's That's a high powered offense.

  • Defense.

  • Ready?

  • So there's flat's being thrown all over the field, and they said Team 10 X can stay all sides and they not even discipline.

  • So, you know, let's let's really win this moment all together, so we're going to do it again a little bit.

  • Ready, offense ready?

  • That's what I'm talking about.

  • Defense.

  • Ready?

  • Beautiful offense.

  • Okay, Defense.

  • You from now.

  • Let's do it all together at one time.

  • Ready Now.

  • That's how you win the day.

  • Thank you very much.
